Sports betting guide

We've put together the most important information about our sports betting service so you don't have to blindly follow what we say, but can see for yourself why things happen.

What is ODDS?

The bookmaker assigns odds to the outcome of all betting options offered for wagering in the betting offer. The bettor can determine his expected winnings based on the odds or the stake. If the odds of a particular outcome are high, the odds associated with that outcome will be lower in proportion to the odds. A lower probability of an outcome is associated with a higher multiplier. The resulting odds are multiplied by the bet amount to get the expected payoff. For example, if the odds are 2.50 and the stake is HUF 1,000, the expected payout is 2.50 x HUF 1,000, i.e. HUF 2,500.

Within a bet, bets are placed on two or more outcomes simultaneously. This method allows for higher payouts with relatively smaller stakes. Multiplying the odds bet by the odds multiplied gives the resulting odds, which multiplied by the stake gives the expected payout. The bet will only be a winner if all of the bettor's predicted outcomes occur.

The total number of goals scored by the two teams involved in the bet will be above (more) or below (less) a certain value, so the goals scored by both teams will count and will be added together. Usually, bookmakers do not give a whole number of goals, but half a number, and you can bet on the number of goals scored in the match being more (over) or less (under) than the given limit.

What's at stake?

The stake is the amount of money in forints that the bettor is willing to wager on the selected event(s). The minimum stake per unit bet is HUF 100 for individual bets and HUF 100 for combined bets. Of course, this may vary depending on the betting site.

You can bet on the 1X2 market. You increase your odds in this market, so the odds are lower. 1X means that either the home team will win or the match will be a draw. X2 means an away win or a draw. And 12 means the match will not end in a draw. You can win either way, depending on which you bet on.

In the +0.50 Asian Handicap bet type, you win if your preferred team wins and in case the final result of the match is a draw. However, if the team loses, you will lose the amount you bet.
